VERNAY MONROE

About

 

Vernay is a practicing artist and recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in drawing. His instinct is to create work with graphite pencils however he is working to incorporate new media into his practice.

Post graduation, Vernay has found a new passion for the handling and installation of artworks. As an Art Handler he has worked at various locations installing and uninstalling numerous artworks of differing sizes and media. He hopes to continue this line of work in the future and aims to find a balance between art handling and creating a successful studio practice.
